Blake and Bradi’s Hamstra Gardens engagement photos in Wheatfield, Indiana were perfect from the couple, to the location, and the fun that we had together! I had first met Bradi in the summer of 2023 when her brother got married. It’s always so special when I’m able to work with a family more than once to document these special moments!
Bradi and Blake first met on the dating app Hinge, and they both agreed that it was love at first sight! You can just feel the love that they have for each other. It’s written all over their faces and truly shines through in their photos!
Bradi & Blake’s Spring Hamstra Gardens Engagement Photos
Since we scheduled Blake and Bradi’s engagement session for spring, we knew we had to find the perfect location. Hamstra Gardens checked all of the boxes! From beautiful architecture and structures, perennial gardens, gazebos, ponds, water fountains, and so much more! The garden has inspirations from all around the world. When the owners would travel, they would bring back inspiration from gardens they’ve visited.
Before an engagement session I always send my clients a questionnaire, and I use the answers they give for posing them, so their photos look authentic to them and their relationship. Most couples tell me they’ve never had professional photos taken before and are often times a little nervous. I keep things lighthearted and fun and use a mix of both posed and prompted poses for each couple to make their own! About halfway through the session, Blake even said “this is so fun!”. It was so cool to hear because usually guys aren’t as excited as girls when getting their photos taken!
Overall this session was so fun, and Blake and Bradi’s Hamstra Gardens engagement photos turned out beautifully. I’m so excited to capture their wedding in October!
