I first picked up a camera when I was 12 years old, and it’s given me one of the greatest gifts I could have ever asked for: a lens through which to view the stories and experiences that make people who they are and the magic that brings them together. I believe that no matter what this time in your life looks like, it's worth remembering and honoring. I always say I have the best “job” in the world because it hardly feels like work.
I grew up in a small, rural town in Northern Indiana. I spent most of my childhood catching frogs, swimming in my grandparents’ pool, playing capture the flag with my neighbors-turned-best-friends, riding four-wheelers, and playing in the creek. It has shaped so much of who I am today, and I have discovered a deep appreciation for the simple things. Indiana is my home and it’s where my heart always comes back to.
Outside of photography, you can find me reading, kayaking on the lake, walking our dog, playing cars with our nephews, playing board games, fishing on the river, or going somewhere new—all with my husband, Tim. More than anything, I love to be with the people I love—my family and chosen family.
