Kara and Kurt (Romkema) met and fell in love when their older siblings met and fell in love. Kara’s older sister is married to Kurt’s older brother, which made this wedding so much fun. Two families who have already become one, came together again to celebrate two more members of the family!
When the Romkema’s were in school, Kurt would visit Kara and they would attend mass and retreats at Ancilla College, so it made perfect sense to get married at the Ancilla Domini Chapel (Plymouth, IN). The chapel is gorgeous and it holds so many memories that the two of them have shared together. The reception took place in the ballroom at Swan Lake Resort (Plymouth, IN).
