There’s something special about a Rock Run Creek Barn wedding, the kind of day that feels both down-to-earth and full of heart. For Ryan and Bailey, high school sweethearts who grew up side by side, it was the perfect place to start their next chapter. Surrounded by the people who have known their story from the very beginning, they tied the knot on a golden summer afternoon in Goshen, Indiana. From the quiet excitement of getting ready to the laughter echoing through the reception barn, every moment felt genuine, joyful, and true to them!

We started off the morning photographing the details and a few getting ready moments before jumping right into wedding party photos. There’s something about the quiet before the celebration that always feels so meaningful—those last few moments of anticipation surrounded by your closest people.
Bailey and Ryan chose not to do a first look but still shared private vows before the ceremony to ease their nerves. It’s one of my favorite alternatives because it allows couples to slow down, take a deep breath, and be fully present with each other without seeing one another just yet. They stood back-to-back under the trees, holding hands and reading the words they’d written for each other. It was such a sweet, emotional moment to witness.
Colorful bouquets have been my absolute favorite lately, and these did not disappoint! The blooms paired perfectly with the mint bridesmaid dresses and navy groomsmen suits. Every color popped beautifully against the greenery and soft light—it all came together so naturally.

The ceremony took place out in the field down the rock driveway, under the warm summer sun. It was one of those perfect Midwest days with blue skies, a light breeze, and sunshine that made everything feel alive. The cornfield backdrop couldn’t have been more fitting for this Rock Run Creek Barn wedding, adding that timeless Indiana charm I’ll never get tired of photographing. The setup was simple but beautiful, with a wooden arch draped in white fabric and rows of guests surrounded by open fields and the sound of the creek nearby.
You really don’t need much when you have a venue like this. The beauty of the space speaks for itself. It’s moments like these that are simple, sentimental, and full of joy, that remind me exactly why I love photographing weddings in the Midwest!

Golden hour at Rock Run Creek Barn was gorgeous. We took a little walk through the property while the evening light softened everything around us. The way the sun hit the trees and shimmered off Bailey’s gown made every photo feel warm and effortless.
The covered bridge over the creek was the perfect spot for photos. Between the rustic wood, the pops of red, and the view of the cornfields behind them, it tied the day together beautifully. These two are so natural in front of the camera, and it was easy to capture how at ease they are together. Just pure joy, a little laughter, and that golden summer glow that makes photographing weddings in Indiana so special!

The reception inside The Event Barn at Rock Run Creek Barn was the perfect mix of cozy and elegant. The space had flowing white drapery and twinkle lights that gave everything a warm, romantic glow. Candles flickered across tables lined with greenery, soft florals, and personalized details that made the reception space feel so personal to Ryan and Bailey.
The wedding party entrances did not disappoint! Everyone came in ready to celebrate. After heartfelt speeches, the room quieted for the father–daughter and mother–son dances. Bailey then surprised her mom with a dance of her own, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Once the dance floor opened, guests immediately filled it and didn’t stop until the very end. We wrapped up the night with a mock bubble exit outside, and the photos turned out so fun! It was such a joyful way to end an incredible day.
