Connor and Shelfie had their stunning Empeiria 110 wedding on a gorgeous August day after seven years together. Their wedding was colorful, emotional, and absolutely beautiful! Every detail—from the vibrant florals to the heartfelt moments shared with loved ones, came together to create a day so full of joy, love, and truly unforgettable memories! Getting Ready & The Details
Shelfie and Connor got ready separately with their wedding parties in the suites at Empeiria 110. Shelfie and her bridesmaids got ready upstairs in the spacious bridal suite, furnished with couches, a private bathroom, and designated spaces for hair and makeup. Shelfie’s dress was simple yet so pretty, perfectly elongating her figure—she looked absolutely stunning! She also wore a locket inscribed with “Dan’s Heart”, a cherished family heirloom that each of her sisters had worn on their wedding days in honor of their late father.
One of my favorite things I’ve seen bridesmaids create is a scrapbook of pictures and memories for the bride to look at the morning of the wedding. It was such a thoughtful and heartwarming way to start the day! Meanwhile, Connor and his groomsmen got ready in the groom’s den, which was just as spacious as the bridal suite. It had comfortable couches and a flat-screen TV, perfect for the guys to hang out before the ceremony.
An Outdoor Empeiria 110 Wedding Ceremony Under The Pavilion
Shelfie and Connor’s outdoor wedding ceremony at Empeiria 110 was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony took place beneath the string-lit pavilion. It was evident that these two were stoked to get married, you could see it all over their faces as they processed back down the aisle after being announced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Wieczorek!
Outdoor Wedding Party & Bride and Groom Portraits in Rochester, Indiana
Connor and Shelfie’s wedding party consisted of sisters, brothers, and best friends—the people who love them most. This group certainly knew how to have fun together! The mint green bridesmaids’ dresses paired perfectly with the light tan groomsmen suits, and the florals tied everything together with a beautiful pop of color!
After capturing wedding party portraits, Shelfie, Connor, and I headed out to get their portraits on the stunning grounds of Empeiria 110 wedding venue. Connor and Shelfie opted to skip day-time portraits, choosing instead to do them all during golden hour, which I loved! The venue’s grounds are well-kept and ideal for portraits, offering everything from open grassy areas and manicured gardens to a charming arched waterfall. There’s no shortage of beautiful locations for portraits at this venue, that’s for sure!
An Indoor Empeiria 110 Wedding Reception in Rochester, Indiana
After portraits, we kicked off the reception, where guest enjoyed a delicious dinner from Mission BBQ—a Midwest favorite! The evening transitioned seamlessly into first dances, starting with Connor and Shelfie, followed by Connor sharing a sweet dance with his mother. One of the most touching moments of the night came when Shelfie shared a slideshow of photos in memory of her late father, leaving not a single dry eye in the room.
The speeches given by one of Shelfie’s sisters and Connor’s brothers were both heartfelt and funny, really drawing in the crowd. After speeches, the dance floor was popping as soon as the first song came on. Their wedding guests were not shy on the dance floor for the remainder of the night, and we capped off a beautiful day with a sparkler exit! Overall, Shelfie and Connor’s Empeiria 110 wedding was one to remember!
