Taylor and Kyle are some of my best friends, so when they asked me to capture their proposal and then their summer engagement photos in Indiana, I couldn’t have been more excited! They have been together for five years and are tying the knot in September of 2024. I’m so excited to be capturing their wedding for them as well!
When trying to decide on a location for their summer engagement photos in Indiana, Taylor had mentioned how she’s been wanting to get photos around their property in Knox, IN for awhile now. It was a no brainer! There was truly no better place than the trails, fields, and the creek that hold so many memories for them.
Taylor & Kyle’s Woodsy Engagement Photos in Indiana With Their Two Dogs
One thing about Taylor and Kyle is that they are always taking their two dogs, Bo and Roxy, on adventures! It only felt right that they joined in on the fun for some photos and adventure! We started off in the woods and had so much fun exploring around the wooded area with the dogs.
If you can’t tell from the photos, their dogs love to run around outside and play! They are so cute. If you’re contemplating bringing your dogs to your engagement session, let this be your sign! They can often bring out even more candid moments and movement to your photos.
Exploring The Fields of Kyle & Taylor’s Property
Kyle and Taylor’s property truly has a little bit of everything and I was loving it! From the beautiful forest with towering trees, open grassy fields, flower fields, and the creek, this made getting different backdrops for their session a breeze.
I also loved the outfits that they wore for their summer engagement photos in Indiana. It was casual and perfect for a session exploring their own property with their pups. Taylor and Kyle also brought some Busch Light which we had some fun with before heading over to the creek.

And to finish off their session, we then headed over to the creek and jumped right on in. This creek holds so many memories for Taylor and Kyle, so it really was the best place to end their session and cool off. This is where they like to chill on warm days, and where Bo and Roxy love to dive for sticks!
It was such an honor to capture my very own friends’ engagement photos in Indiana, and to explore their property with them. I can’t wait to capture their wedding in September!
